This Privacy Policy explains how RestauHub collects, uses, and protects your data, and the data of the guests who order through your menu.
1. What we collect
Account information (name, email, phone, restaurant details), content you upload (menu items, images, pricing), usage data (pages visited, features used, device/browser info), and — where you enable ordering or payments — order and transaction data.
2. How we use your data
To operate and improve the Service, process orders and payments, provide customer support, send important account or service notices, and — only with your consent — send product updates or marketing emails.
3. Diner data
When guests scan a QR menu or place an order, we may collect limited information (e.g. order details, table number). We process this data on behalf of the restaurant outlet to fulfill the order. Restaurant owners are responsible for how they communicate this to their guests.
4. Sharing & third parties
We share data with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, analytics, payment processors) and with third-party integrations you explicitly connect (POS, accounting, delivery aggregators). We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. We apply role-based access controls so only authorized systems and personnel can access sensitive data such as API keys or payment tokens.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner or your browser settings.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by restaurant operators and their staff, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
